NOTE: "York University’s Centre for Sexual Violence Response, Support & Education (https://thecentre.yorku.ca/), in collaboration with Vanier College Productions (http://www.vaniercollegeproductions.com/) presents Consent Talks! Prior to this screening hosted by York International, we wanted to remind you about the content. The play will focus on sexual violence, consent, resources & vignettes. We understand the topics that we will be speaking about can cause strong emotions, or require support to be present. We will have support persons in the meeting, and individuals from The Centre for Sexual Violence Response, Support & Education on standby for support. We also understand that this content may not be safe to have played out loud in your homes, communities or countries you are accessing the training from. If at any point you feel that it is not safe for you to proceed, feel free to send an email to Mark Subekti Tan (msubekti@yorku.ca) or the Centre (thecentre@yorku.ca) and we will work out another form of training where you can have the support you need. We also recommend individuals who have younger family members to wear headphones so that the content is not shared with audiences who may be in your home. Your safety and comfort is our priority, and if you need anything at all please reach out to us."
