International Education Week (IEW) has been celebrated since 2000 to showcase the impact that international education has in preparing students for the world and the ways in which education institutions support international engagement efforts. More than 100 countries across the world join forces to highlight the importance of international education, promote the benefits of education abroad and exchanges and recognize the contributions of international students in strengthening international and intercultural understanding. This year the York University community is planning a full week of activities on November 18-22, that will engage and connect with students, faculty members and staff.
